When you purchase a service or hire a creative, your payment is processed securely through our payment gateway — not sent directly to the freelancer. Here's how it works: 1. **You Pay**: When you buy a package or accept a quote, your payment is processed and recorded as a Pending Settlement. 2. **Work Begins**: The creative is notified and starts working, knowing the payment has been confirmed. 3. **Review Delivery**: You receive watermarked deliverables to review. 4. **Approve & Disburse**: Once you're satisfied with the work, click 'Approve' — this triggers the platform to release (disburse) the funds directly to the creative's bank account, minus platform fees. At no point does Afruniverse hold your money in a virtual wallet or personal account. The platform simply facilitates the secure disbursement of funds once the client confirms satisfaction with the delivered work. If you're not satisfied, you can request a refund or raise a dispute.
